Job Opportunity: High Voltage Engineer
Location: Timahoe (Co. Kildare) or Lysaghtstown (Co. Cork)

A global renewable energy leader is seeking an experienced High Voltage Engineer to join its Operations & Maintenance team in either Timahoe or Lysaghtstown. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional passionate about maintaining and optimising renewable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the execution of maintenance plans and provide technical guidance to site teams.

Oversee the implementation of internal procedures and technical standards.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal requirements across all activities.

Conduct routine on-site technical inspections and performance evaluations.

Coordinate activities between on-site teams and remote monitoring services.

Manage and report on work performed by subcontractors and internal field teams.

Participate in hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance, including fault diagnostics.

Assist the Site Manager in organising resources and supporting contract management for PV plant operations.
Candidate Profile:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hydro, or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of high voltage switching operations, HV AP/SAP protocols, and power electronics.

Familiarity with maintenance management processes and technical design principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Fluency in English; local language skills considered an asset.

Availability for short-notice travel within Ireland.
