My client, a leading HGV Dealer and Service Centre, is in need of a HGV Workshop Coordinator to come in a lead a highly skilled team in their centre based in Naas, Co. Kildare.

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for quality workmanship, exceptional organisation, and team development? My client is looking for an experienced HGV Workshop Coordinator to join their busy HGV dealership and service facility.

The responsibilities for the Workshop Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure quality control of job packs, checking for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor technicians’ job allocations, resolving issues quickly when they arise
  • Create timely and accurate quotations for workshop jobs
  • Handle invoice queries, providing accurate and prompt responses
  • Process all claim returns/queries for both bus & truck within strict timeframes
  • Take part in daily WIP meetings and support the CSR team when needed
  • Be the go-to person for process advice, correcting deviations and escalating repeated issues
  • Contribute to training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives

The requirements for the Workshop Coordinator include:

  • Strong technical understanding of workshop processes and operations
  • A sharp eye for detail with excellent administrative and time management skills
  • Confidence in challenging and guiding colleagues to follow processes correctly
  • A proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to balance deadlines, business needs, and unexpected challenges
