Our client, a leading manufacturer in West Cork, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their growing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and develop the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function within a progressive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective EHS policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace

Lead and promote a positive safety culture across all areas of the business

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented

Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, including COMAH/Seveso regulations

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental performance and sustainability practices
Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field

Proven experience in a Health & Safety management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Own transport essential
