Do you have a caring nature, a compassionate heart, and a desire to support others in your community? We’re hiring Healthcare Assistants across Meath to provide person-centred care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
This is a home-based care role, you’ll be visiting clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity in their daily lives.
We’re recruiting in areas across County Meath, including:
Navan, Ashbourne, Ratoath, Dunshaughlin, Dunboyne, Trim, Kells, Enfield, Clonee, Bettystown, Laytown, Mornington, Duleek, Slane, Athboy, Kildalkey, Oldcastle, Ballivor, Longwood, Stamullen, and Kentstown.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Assist with meals and feeding.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Carry out light domestic duties (laundry, tidying, etc.)
- Support mobility and safe transfers.
- Follow individual care plans and record accurate notes.
- Encourage independence and promote well being.
Requirements:
We welcome both experienced and new carers who meet one of the following:
- QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person OR Minimum 1 year of care experience with a willingness to complete these QQI modules
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Full driving licence is an advantage (non-drivers may also be considered)
- Legal right to work in Ireland (essential)
