Job Title: Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Manager

Currently recruiting for a Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Manager to lead and oversee the QHSE function.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet necessary regulatory standards, with a focus on compliance, safety, and sustainability.
The role involves managing the day-to-day QHSE operations, identifying gaps in compliance, and ensuring constant improvement across all safety and quality standards. You will be expected to communicate with senior management and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental management are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise managers and staff on legislation, best practices, and QHSE standards.

Develop and implement the Company Health & Safety Statement and Environmental Management Policies.

Oversee the compliance of internal systems, audit processes, and staff training to ensure adherence to QHSE regulations.

Investigate and address quality, health, safety, and environmental issues, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken.

Track internal accident investigations, ensuring continuous improvement in safety protocols.

Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvement processes, such as Lean Systems and root cause analysis.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation through audits and assessments.

Prepare Transport and Traffic Management Plans, ensuring health and safety compliance across operations.

Lead monthly QHSE meetings, track training progress, and maintain necessary certifications for staff and operations.

Monitor and report non-compliance incidents, deviations, and corrective actions.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

At least five years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on Quality.

Strong knowledge of QHSE standards, legislation, and best practices.

Experience with ISO Certifications and managing QHSE systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational, planning, and teamwork skills.

Competency with Microsoft Office and other office software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ambitious with a desire to uphold high standards and deliver results.
