Overview:

This critical position within the HR function will concentrate on ensuring effective delivery, clarity, adherence, and on-site execution of organisational policies by partnering with both departmental and site leaders.

The successful applicant will be forward-thinking, adaptable, and energized by a dynamic environment, bringing strong operational capability alongside a commitment to developing people.

As a Senior HR professional, you will work closely with leadership across the support office and site locations, and other key partners to deliver an employee experience that is consistent, compliant, and aligned with the business core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a reliable, informed, and professional HR service across areas such as employee relations, probation reviews, long-term absence, and more — ensuring all cases are managed in accordance with policy, best-practice standards, and legal obligations to minimise organisational risk.

  • Leverage your HR knowledge to collaborate effectively with managers, offering guidance, support, and coaching that advances people development and strengthens business outcomes.

  • Focus on empowering managers and building their capability to understand and apply HR policies and processes correctly. Promote an environment built on trust, ownership, and ongoing improvement.

  • Support and guide leaders in setting clear expectations, delivering meaningful feedback, and managing performance proactively. This includes facilitating goal-setting, participating in talent discussions, and supporting performance enhancement initiatives that align with organisational priorities.

  • Act as the primary escalation contact for the team on complex or sensitive employee experience matters, advising managers on disciplinary actions, formal warnings, policy interpretation, and general employment practices.

  • Undertake regular visits to group sites to build strong partnerships, deepen relationships, and maintain a visible and supportive HR presence.

Skills & Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior HR operations capacity within a high-volume, fast-moving environment.

  • A motivated, results-oriented professional with a strong, practical, hands-on style.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, with current and comprehensive knowledge of Irish employment legislation.

  • Solid background in employee relations management, performance management, leadership coaching, and day-to-day HR operational delivery.

  • CIPD accreditation.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail.

  • Exceptional communication and influencing capabilities, with the ability to form strong relationships across all organisational levels. A confident, credible presence with resilience, sound judgement, and professional gravitas.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business applications.

  • Full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel to all company sites (mileage reimbursement provided).
