FRS Recruitment is working with a public sector client to recruit a Project & Data Coordinator – an exciting opportunity to step into a flexible role that blends administration, project coordination, and analytical reporting.
About the Role:
In this role, you will provide direct support to a senior leader, working across several priority projects. You’ll take ownership of meeting coordination, document management, and progress tracking, while also maintaining and analysing key datasets to support timely and informed decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in project support, administration, or data analysis, particularly within a public sector or structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structured administrative and project support to a senior team member
- Coordinate meetings, capture clear minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed
- Maintain and update complex trackers across multiple initiatives
- Analyse data using Excel; prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for decision-makers
- Follow up with internal stakeholders to drive progress and accountability
- Support Freedom of Information (FOI) and Subject Access Request (SAR) processes when needed
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection, and relevant public sector regulations
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting project or business operations in a structured environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Analytical mindset; confident reviewing data and identifying trends or gaps
- Experience coordinating across teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with public sector processes, FOI, SAR, or GDPR is a plus
- Previous experience in a healthcare, public sector, or regulated environment is desirable but not essential
