As they continue to evolve, we are seeking a driven and strategic General Sales Manager to lead the sales operations and grow into the role of General Manager within two years.

Role Overview

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced automotive sales leader who can drive commercial performance, elevate customer experience and inspire a high-performing team.

You will lead New & Used Sales operations, develop sales strategies, oversee marketing and customer retention initiatives and play a key role in dealership-wide leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to deliver consistent performance
  • Drive sales growth across new and used vehicles, finance and add-on products
  • Set and monitor KPIs, ensuring targets and profitability goals are achieved
  • Maintain excellent relationships with partners and key customers
  • Oversee pricing strategy, stock management and forecasting
  • Champion customer satisfaction & retention, ensuring a premium experience
  • Support long-term business planning and operational improvements
  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports
  • Uphold and promote dealership values, culture and reputation in the community

About You

  • Senior sales leadership experience in the automotive sector
  • Proven track record of driving performance and achieving sales targets
  • Strong coaching skills with a passion for developing people
  • Commercially astute with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
  • Values-driven, professional, and committed to excellence
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and motivated to progress to General Manager
