We are currently recruiting a full-time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) for a long-term placement in an elderly care setting located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. This role offers consistent hours and the opportunity to work as part of a committed care team supporting older adults.
We are seeking candidates who are flexible and able to commit to a regular shift pattern.
Role Details:

Flexibility required to cover day and night shifts

Shift patterns may include:
-
Long days: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
-
Short days: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM / 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Twilight shifts: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
-
Requirements:
-
Full QQI/FETAC Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification – all 8 modules completed(essential)

Previous experience in an elderly care or healthcare setting (preferred)

Willingness to complete a full compliance process, including:

Garda Vetting

3 x Satisfactory References

Occupational Health Clearance

Online and Practical Training (up-to-date and certified)

International Police Clearance (if applicable)
