We are seeking Food Production Operatives for a client based near Tralee. The client prepares vegetables, salads and fruit for a wide variety of customers in the hotel, restaurant and gastro pub trade.
Food Production Operatives are responsible for preparing and packaging orders for customers. You will also monitor the machinery during the food preparation processes to ensure that product quality standards are being met.
Duties Food Production Operatives:
- Prepare customer orders ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times. This includes washing, peeling, slicing and dicing
- Assembling, packaging and labelling products
- Checking and weighing products
- Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care, reporting any issues to Management
- Work cooperatively with the other food production personnel to meet goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Adhere to all Health and Safety, following safety rules, including wearing protective equipment.
Requirements:
- Chef experience is desirable
- Must be able to commit to early starts
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Punctuality and flexibility are key requirements
- Must have own transport
- Possess strong attention to detail
