Fitter/Mechanic – Galway
Are you an experienced Fitter/Mechanic with a solid understanding of plant and machinery?
Our client, a leading construction services company, is actively seeking a Fitter / Mechanic, to maintain and repair essential equipment, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, and access equipment in their Galway depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics on various equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Carry out repairs and parts replacements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Fitter/Mechanic, preferably with knowledge of heavy plant and access machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently.
- Full, clean driving license essential for nationwide travel.
- Flexibility for call-outs and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
