Maintenance Fitter (Full-Time, Permanent, Night Shift)

Full-time, permanent opportunities are available for experienced Maintenance Fitters within the Maintenance Department. The role focuses on maximising asset uptime through planned and preventative maintenance.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 12:00am – 07:30am

  • Friday: 7:30pm – 04:30am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

  • Diagnose and resolve faults quickly using strong problem-solving skills.

  • Work with OEMs and external contractors on maintenance, repairs, and installations.

  • Promote a proactive safety culture and follow safe working practices.

  • Use CMMS to record planned, reactive, and project work.

  • Source and liaise with vendors and OEMs for parts and technical support.

  • Support continuous improvement projects and trials.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and statutory requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate (or equivalent).

  • 3+ year's industrial maintenance experience.

  • Strong technical and fault-finding ability.

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in Print & Packaging and SAP PM is an advantage.
