Plant Fitter Job Opportunity
Are you a skilled Plant Fitter with a passion for mechanical repair, welding, and field-based work?
Our client, a well-established public sector organisation, is looking for an experienced individual to support essential plant operations and infrastructure maintenance across the Eastern Region.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair mobile and fixed plant
-
Carry out welding duties (MIG, TIG, or metal arc)
-
Assist with safe site operations, adhering to Health & Safety standards
-
Support procurement of supplies and parts, ensuring minimal downtime
-
Liaise with external contractors and internal teams on repair projects
Eligibility & Essential Criteria:
-
FETAC Advanced Certificate in Construction Plant Fitting (or equivalent)
-
3+ years of post-qualification experience as a fitter
-
Full, current driving licence
-
Experience with fault-finding, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant and mechanical systems
-
Welding experience (metal arc, MIG, or TIG)
