We are seeking a Financial Controller for a long establish manufacturing client in Tralee. The client operates in several niche markets with most of its products exported.
Role overview:
- Prepare Annual Financial Reports and Budgets.
- Preparation and submission of monthly Management Reports Packs
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain stability and compliance.
- Submission as required of management reports including cash flows analysis, Grant applications, Sales Analysis, Product Costing and Job Costing Reports.
- Preparation of Tax Returns, including R&D rebates, VAT, & PAYE, CSO, CRO returns
- Capital Investment Analysis
- Oversee the year-end audit process in coordination with external auditors.
- Ensure timely submission of audit requirements.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and enforce compliance with policies.
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with 5+ years relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills with a detail-oriented and team-focused approach
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel
