Senior Financial Accountant – Galway
We are working with a leading organisation in the life sciences sector that is experiencing strong growth. They are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to play a key role in supporting the CFO and leading operational aspects of the finance function.
You will manage day-to-day finance operations , deliver monthly management accounts, oversee payroll, support statutory reporting, and drive process improvements using SAP and Power BI. You will also partner with department heads on budgets and forecasts while ensuring compliance across all areas.
This role suits a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years’ experience in a financial accounting role, ideally within an SME. Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with hands-on experience using SAP and Power BI.
