Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team. The position involves supporting service operations across Ireland, with a primary base in Cork and travel to customer sites nationwide. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the drive to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality calibrations, routine servicing, and commissioning of new projects for customers in a timely manner.

Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently and effectively.

Maintain a proactive approach to upcoming work, ensuring adequate preparation and stock availability.

Collaborate with the sales team to promote and quote relevant products and services.

Provide detailed service reports, highlighting potential sales opportunities and follow-up actions.

Manage field activities, implement engineering designs, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Serve as a key point of contact to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
Requirements, Skills, and Experience:

Technical qualification or equivalent experience in electrical and instrumentation fields.

Experience with instrumentation equipment, RAMs, HAZOPs, AutoCAD, and CRM systems is desirable.

Familiarity with calibration software (e.g., Compucal) and service software (e.g., WorkPal).

Full, clean driving licence.

Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and solve problems effectively.

Methodical and analytical approach to product support, including diagnostics and test program development.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
