A reputable and growing precision engineering business in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan is currently seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join the team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and fit components for a variety of steel and metal projects
-
Work to high specifications in Stainless Steel and Mild Steel
-
Operate and program machinery including press-brakes and guillotines
-
Read and interpret CAD design drawings accurately
-
Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
-
Assemble parts using appropriate hand tools
-
Accurately complete job cards and documentation
-
Adhere to Quality, Health & Safety standards
-
Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives and identify process improvements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Experience in a similar engineering environment
-
A recognised welding qualification
-
Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
-
High standards in metal fabrication and attention to detail
-
A proactive approach to work with strong problem-solving skills
-
Commitment to quality and safety in all tasks
-
Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines
-
A full, clean driving licence
