Our client, a well-established food production company based in Naas, Co. Kildare, is currently recruiting for an Evaporator Trainee to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical mindset and a willingness to learn, ideally with some experience or interest in production, process control, or mechanical systems. Full training will be provided to support you in operating evaporation equipment and associated systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust evaporation systems and related equipment (following full training)
- Use computerised control panels to monitor and record production data
- Assist in planning and executing daily production schedules
- Identify and report quality issues or non-conformances to the technical team
- Report equipment faults to the engineering department
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment in line with food safety standards
Experience and Qualifications
- Comfortable with maths and computer systems, including computerised controls
- Understanding of pumps, control valves, and CIP(clean-in-place) procedures in food production (preferred)
- Experience handling chemicals and hot liquids(preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work rotating shifts and adapt to production schedules
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn new technical skills
