Urgent: Engineering Stores Operative – Pharma Industry (Regulated Environment Experience Required)

Monday to Friday, 8.15am – 5pm (4pm finish Friday)
We are urgently recruiting for an Engineering Stores Operative to join a busy stores team supporting MRO spares for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Westport, Co. Mayo. This is a full-time, permanent role that needs to be filled as soon as possible.
Applicants must have experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical or food production.
The Role:
This is an operative role within a fast-paced storeroom handling the receipt, labelling, issuing, and stock control of engineering spares. You will work closely with site users and maintain stock accuracy using ERP systems including Maximo , so good computer skills are essential. This position also involves customer-facing duties and requires strict adherence to GMP and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive and label deliveries, ensuring accurate logging in ERP systems (Maximo)

Issue materials to maintenance and engineering work orders

Perform regular cycle counts and support stock reconciliation

Maintain storeroom housekeeping and ensure audit readiness

Process returns and manage stock movement efficiently

Liaise with internal customers and suppliers in a professional manner

Ensure compliance with all site procedures and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, medical device)

Previous experience in stores or materials handling, preferably with MRO spares

Proficient with ERP systems and comfortable using Maximo or similar software

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Customer-focused with excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a busy, team-oriented environment

Monday to Thursday: 8.15am – 5.00pm

Friday: 8.15am – 4.00pm
Salary:

€30,000 – €32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
