Engineering Stores Operative – Pharma Industry

Mon–Thurs: 8.15am–5pm | Fri: 8.15am–4pm

We are currently seeking an Engineering Stores Operative to join a well-established pharmaceutical company based in Baldoyle, Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and a great work-life balance with an early finish every Friday.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Stores Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the Engineering Storeroom. This includes receiving and issuing materials, maintaining accurate stock records, supporting maintenance teams, and ensuring the storeroom is compliant with GMP and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, log and distribute deliveries using ERP systems in line with SOPs

Issue materials to maintenance work orders and assist with locating stock

Perform daily cycle counts and monthly stock checks (including VMI materials)

Ensure storeroom safety, cleanliness and audit-readiness at all times

Process and prepare returns to suppliers

Maintain up-to-date training and valid forklift licences (as applicable)

Liaise with internal departments and escalate issues to management as required
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a stores, warehousing, or materials handling role

Familiarity with ERP systems and GMP environments is highly desirable

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Monday to Thursday: 8.15am – 5.00pm

Friday: 8.15am – 4.00pm
