Engineering Operative
I am recruiting for multiple Engineering Operatives to join a busy fleet maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in high standards, and wants long-term growth within an engineering environment.
What you will do

Fuel buses and check oil and water levels

Shunt vehicles safely within the yard

Wash and clean buses to company standards

Carry out minor maintenance tasks under the direction of the Foreman or Team Leader

Maintain the garage and yard area

Undertake suitable duties in line with your competence and safety training
What you need

Minimum Full B licence
-
Full or Provisional C or D licence preferred for shunting buses

Valid forklift licence (valid or expired - experience essential)

Experience in a maintenance, engineering support, or transport setting

Strong self management and an execution focused approach

Ability to follow safety procedures and work well as part of a team

Flexibility to work varying hours and shift patterns (five over seven)
Shift options

Overnight washbay shifts available from 7 PM to 4 AM with a 20 percent shift allowance

General engineering operative roles also available with varying hours
What’s on offer

Salary: €33,078.36 per annum or €634.09 per week (not includig shift allowance)
