At Turas Nua, we support people who are unemployed by providing intensive, targeted, and personalised employment support services. The Intreo Partner of National Employment Services (IPNES) contract is delivered by Turas Nua, the Irish employability services provider. Turas Nua is wholly owned by FRS Network, an Irish cooperative social enterprise, which has been delivering services to Irish communities since 1980
The Employability Co-Ordinator is responsible for the successful delivery of the Employability contract across Kildare. This leadership role will ensure that all contractual, operational, and performance targets are achieved. The Co-Ordinator will lead a team of Job Coaches, drive client and employer engagement, and develop strong relationships with local stakeholders and referral partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all contract KPIs and SLAs are met or exceeded, including referrals, client engagement, job placements, and sustainment
- Maintain a strong understanding of contractual and compliance requirements, ensuring all delivery activity is aligned.
- Lead and manage the team through regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews to drive accountability, development, and results.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with company values and a client-first approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Department of Social Protection (DSP), employers, community organisations, and training providers.
- Represent the programme at events, forums, and meetings to enhance visibility and partnership opportunities.
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve service delivery, client outcomes, and the overall reach of the programme.
- Drive local initiatives and support continuous improvement across the contract.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with employability, activation programmes, or similar public service settings is an advantage.
- Comfortable using Salesforce CRM (or similar systems), including monitoring reports and supporting day-to-day usage.
- Able to interpret data and reports confidently, with good attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and solve problems as they arise.
- Well-organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage a busy workload and shifting priorities.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to the travel involved in the role.
