A new opportunity is available for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Electrician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of automated manufacturing equipment and plant services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance across all site equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair faults on production lines, plant utilities, and control systems.

  • Support production by responding quickly to breakdowns and collaborating with production teams.

  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, upgrades, and line modifications.

  • Use and maintain AutoCAD drawings and electrical schematics.

  • Undertake installation and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain high standards of housekeeping.

  • Participate in plant improvement projects (WCM/Lean/CI), contributing innovative technical solutions.

  • Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of spare parts and consumables.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and PLCs.

  • Proficiency in fault finding and repair on motors, sensors, HMIs, temperature controls, and automation systems.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, and drive systems.

  • Ability to interpret and maintain electrical drawings and schematics (AutoCAD experience beneficial).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously or in a multi-skilled team.

  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship.

  • Flexibility to support new product trials and process improvements as required.
