An opportunity has opened for a skilled Electrician/ Field Service Engineer to join a fast-growing renewable energy environment, supporting solar and wind operations. This role is based in Cork and involves hands-on fieldwork and strategic coordination across multiple renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans

Lead and ensure adherence to operational procedures and technical guidelines

Monitor and enforce HSE compliance and best practices across technical teams

Conduct regular technical inspections at operational sites

Coordinate and report on activities carried out by O&M teams and subcontractors
-
Act as a technical liaison between field teams and remote operations services
-
Participate directly in troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks alongside field technicians

Support the Site Manager in resource planning and contract management for PV plant maintenance
Requirements:
-
Over 5 years of experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro, or related sectors)

Expertise in maintenance management, high voltage switching, HV AP/SAP operations, and power electronics

Strong understanding of technical design and electrical systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Fluency in the local language; English proficiency preferred

Willingness to travel nationally on short notice
