We are currently inviting applications for the position of Staff Nurse to join our established healthcare team at locations- Co. Kilkenny, Co. Wicklow, Co Kildare, Co Galway, Meath, Wexford, Clare
The Role
As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will ensure dignity, respect, and compassion are central to everything you do, while upholding professional standards and contributing positively to the team.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver care that respects the dignity, privacy, and individuality of each resident.

Act as a Named Nurse and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Build strong, meaningful relationships with residents, families, and visitors, offering support and comfort, particularly during times of bereavement.

Ensure all organisational policies and standards are clearly understood and followed by staff.
-
Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records in line with legislation and internal requirements.

Safeguard the administration, storage, and control of all medications in accordance with policy.

Demonstrate knowledge of HIQA standards and actively participate in inspection processes.

Manage resident admissions in line with procedures and ensure documentation is complete.

Liaise with healthcare professionals regarding resident discharges to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
-
First level nursing registration.

Registered on the NMBI live register.

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Strong decision-making ability.

Self-motivated and able to inspire others.

A collaborative team player who can also work independently.

Results-driven with a strong commitment to high standards of care.
