FRS Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, caring, supportive and empathetic nurse for the position of Director of Services working for our client in Tipperary. The Director of Services is invited to join our clients team, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of service user care, regulatory compliance, and support centre management.
This position is 30 hrs per week Monday to Friday, with a salary at Clinical Nurse Manager II grade and for an initial contract of 12 months.
The responsibilities of the Director of Services will include but will not be limited to:
- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the centre for service users with a cancer diagnosis or life limiting condition.
- Lead and support the staff and volunteers to provide excellent service user care.
- Ensure compliance, regulatory standards & guidelines are met.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between staff, volunteers, clients, and their families.
- Contribute to volunteer recruitment, staff education, training, & professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
Requirements
- Registered with the Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
