The Role

My client is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Lead to join their operations in Malahide, North County Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position.

As the Digital Marketing Lead you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of digital marketing strategies designed to maximise engagement, boost event turnout, and improve the visibility of their brand.

Tasks & Duties

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to promote a portfolio of events and brands. Use audience research, competitor analysis, and market trends to guide positioning, messaging, and campaign direction.
  • Lead end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, SEO, and PPC to drive ticket sales, brand awareness, and sponsor exposure. Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Work with internal teams, agencies, and content creators to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns. Maintain detailed marketing calendars to ensure timely delivery throughout pre-event, live-event, and post-event phases.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve engagement, ROI, and profitability.
  • Oversee creation and scheduling of content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, newsletters, and event websites. Manage multiple social accounts and capture live content during events for future campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing assets. Develop tailored materials to support sales and sponsorship teams, enhancing partner visibility and value.
  • Create clear, engaging presentations and reports for clients, sponsors, and internal stakeholders, highlighting campaign results, audience insights, and event outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership, teams, and sponsors to maintain alignment, transparency, and shared objectives throughout all marketing activities.

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience, including 1+ year in a leadership role. Experience in events, live experiences, or entertainment is a distinct advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute campaigns across social media, email, paid media, SEO, and content marketing that deliver measurable event results.
  • Hands-on experience managing and growing social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Canva, and CapCut.
  • Skilled in developing content strategies and visual storytelling while effectively collaborating with designers, copywriters, video editors, and content creators.
  • Excellent ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and decks for clients, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, balance priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, data-driven, and results-focused with a passion for events, storytelling, and capturing onsite content (photo/video) for future marketing use.
