Role Overview:
The BIM Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) across project lifecycles. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and subcontractors to ensure design accuracy, clash detection, and information flow are maintained from pre-construction through delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines

Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, workflows, and protocols

Lead clash detection and resolution through Navisworks or similar tools

Work with site teams to ensure model accuracy and provide construction support

Assist in digital construction planning, sequencing, and 4D simulations where required

Manage design data exchange between consultants and subcontractors
Requirements:

Degree in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or related field

3+ years’ experience in a BIM Coordinator or Design Coordinator role within the construction industry

Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / ACC platforms

Solid understanding of Irish Building Regulations and construction sequencing

Excellent coordination, communication, and organisational skills
