The Role

My client, a leading provider of software solutions is seeking an immediately available and skilled Customer Support Agent to join them for an exciting 6 month fixed term contract. The role is based in Duleek, Meath, with hybrid working available following one month of training.

As the Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for supporting customers through data migrations, providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth and accurate transition. You will act as the first point of contact, delivering excellent service and support throughout the migration process.

Tasks & Duties

  • Support customers through data migration, ensuring accurate transfer and a smooth transition.
  • Act as the first point of contact, providing assistance via phone and email.
  • Identify customer issues, research solutions, and deliver clear guidance to resolve queries.
  • Guide customers in using the software effectively, offering step-by-step support and training.
  • Test software to identify and report issues, contributing to a bug-free and reliable release.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry trends, while supporting team members with customer queries during high-demand periods.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
  • Strong customer focus, proactive attitude, and a commitment to going the extra mile to support users.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency with software applications; knowledge of Excel is an advantage.
  • Relevant professional knowledge or qualifications that support effective service delivery.
  • Positive, can-do approach with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
  • Candidates with prior data migration combined with customer support experience will be preferred.
  • Training requirement: Candidates must attend from 1st December – availability is essential.
