The Role

My client, a leading international company, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Operative to join their team at Dublin Airport. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role operating on a 5-out-of-7 day shift pattern.

As a Customer Service Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless customer journey by delivering exceptional service at every touch-point.

Tasks & Duties

  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-rental inspections to ensure all vehicles meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational condition, including regular auditing of interior and exterior quality.
  • Perform fleet and stock checks, manage on-fleeting/off-fleeting activities, oversee tracker installation/removal and activation/deactivation, and complete all related documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Safely deliver and collect vehicles from airport terminals and offsite locations, maintaining accurate records of all vehicle movements and ensuring timely execution of transport duties.
  • Maintain strict control of vehicle keys and security procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies to protect fleet assets at all times.
  • Coordinate and document routine vehicle safety and maintenance checks, ensuring all inspection records are complete and up to date, including scheduling necessary services such as fluid level assessments and fuel tank draining when required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines; complete all paperwork and reports promptly; and perform additional tasks as directed by management to support operational needs.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Possess a full, clean Category B driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years ( essential requirement).
  • Willingness and ability to work varied shifts - including evenings, weekends, and holidays (Monday to Sunday).
  • Strong time management, organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English and a positive, proactive attitude; knowledge of a second language is a distinct advantage.
  • Computer literate with strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions; capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
