Cost Accountant – Leading Medical Device Manufacturer (Co. Limerick)

Our client are expanding their advanced manufacturing facility and R&D, and are now seeking a Cost Accountant to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.
This role is fully onsite and suited to Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountants with Cost Accounting experience within the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and report on KPIs to drive cost efficiency and operational improvements
- Lead monthly operational reporting and variance analysis
- Calculate standard product costs and prepare related journal entries
- Conduct margin variance analysis and investigate significant variances
- Act as finance lead on process improvement projects
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support business decisions
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts
- Support internal and external audit processes
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or currently pursuing qualification
- 2–3 years’ experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
