I am seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to manage and coordinate the delivery of multiple construction projects across Galway and the surrounding region. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, acting as a key link between company directors, office-based staff, and on-site management teams to ensure all projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
The successful candidate will bring leadership, coordination, and technical expertise, while ensuring compliance with all contractual and health & safety obligations.
Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple live construction projects simultaneously, from start to completion.

Act as the central liaison between directors, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Oversee and coordinate site managers, forepersons, and trades to ensure the efficient delivery of works.

Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, tracking milestones and proactively resolving issues.

Monitor project progress, reporting weekly/monthly to the company director.

Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, budgets, timelines, and quality benchmarks.

Maintain and review all Health & Safety documentation in line with industry standards and legislative requirements.

Coordinate procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractors with support from the office team.

Drive team performance and foster a collaborative working environment across all projects.

Represent the company in client and stakeholder meetings, maintaining professional relationships and communication throughout.
About You
-
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager or similar senior role within the construction industry.

A strong track record delivering small to medium-scale projects is highly desirable.

Good working knowledge of construction regulations, health & safety standards, and site management practices in Ireland.

Technical knowledge of building methods, plant, equipment, and construction sequencing.

Strong programming/scheduling abilities, with experience using relevant software and tools.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Full clean Irish driving licence essential.
