Senior Compliance Specialist (12-Month FTC) | Hybrid | Remote | CF-2 Role

A regulated financial services firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Compliance Specialist to join their Compliance team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

This is a Controlled Function (CF-2) role under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness & Probity Regime, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Compliance and contribute directly to the firm’s Compliance Framework and culture.

  • Support the execution of the firm’s Compliance Programme across regulated entities.
  • Lead the day-to-day compliance oversight of AML/CTF requirements.
  • Perform compliance monitoring reviews and report findings to senior management.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and maintain relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Help prepare for audits, inspections, and thematic reviews.
  • Track and implement regulatory developments, ensuring the business remains compliant.
  • Draft, update, and maintain key compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely and practical compliance advice to internal stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Contribute to the delivery of compliance training across the business.
  • Support the Data Protection Officer with relevant data protection obligations.
  • Manage and report compliance breaches and incidents.
  • Foster a strong, embedded compliance culture across all business units.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a 2nd Line of Defense compliance role within a regulated financial services firm.
  • Deep understanding of Irish regulations (e.g., AML/CFT, CPC, IDD, GDPR).
  • Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ethical decision-making and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Confidence in engaging and advising stakeholders at all levels.
  • Degree in Business, Law, Compliance, or related field.
  • Compliance qualification(e.g., LCI/ACOI/QFA) is a strong advantage.

Flexible hybrid working model with office presence or remote setup.
