The Role
My client, an established Irish Insurance Broker is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Advisor to join there team. This is a full-time, permanent, office based position in Sligo.
As the Commercial Lines Advisor, you will manage and retain a portfolio of commercial business clients by handling policies, claims, and renewals while ensuring compliance, accurate documentation, and strong client relationships.
Tasks & Duties
- Manage a portfolio of commercial business clients, overseeing renewals, queries, cover instructions, mid-term amendments, and claims, with a strong focus on retaining existing business.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues while ensuring accurate management of client and prospect documentation.
- Ensure full adherence to compliance standards and applicable regulatory codes, including the Consumer Protection Code 2012.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of all relevant information.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- A customer-focused team player dedicated to delivering excellent service and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- APA/CIP qualification in commercial lines is a minimum requirement and subject to Fitness and Probity Standards.
- Previous experience and knowledge in commercial insurance broking is highly desirable.
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be available for onsite work.
