Clinical Nurse Specialist—Oncology
(CNMII Grade)
Part Time - Permanent Contract - 30 hrs
Requirements:
· Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration (essential)
· Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Oncology Nursing (essential)
· Masters (MSc) in Oncology Nursing (desirable)
· 3yrs experience in the specialist area of medical oncology (essential)
· Have proven clinical and professional ability
· Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.
· Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.
· Have excellent communication & leadership skills with the ability to positively engage with patients and staff.
· Be enthusiastic and highly motivated.
· Have a proven ability to work under pressure
· Have evidence of commitment to professional development.
· Have an ability to deal with staff at all levels within the organisation
