CNC Machinist – Precision Engineering
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their precision engineering team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a high-spec manufacturing environment and enjoys working to tight tolerances on complex injection moulds and automation components.
Key Responsibilities:

Set, operate, and program CNC milling and turning machines.

Machine components to high precision, working from CAD drawings and technical specifications.

Support the manufacture and maintenance of injection mould tools and precision components.

Use EDM (wire/sinker) and manual machines (lathes, grinders, drills) for secondary operations and fine-tuning.

Assist in diagnosing and resolving machining/tooling issues to reduce downtime.

Collaborate with the tooling and engineering team on new product introductions and tooling improvements.
What You’ll Need:

2–5+ years’ experience in a precision machining or toolroom environment.

Proven CNC programming skills (e.g., Fanuc, Heidenhain, or similar).

Ability to interpret CAD drawings and machine to tight tolerances.

Solid understanding of materials, cutting speeds/feeds, and machining techniques.

Experience with injection mould tooling or automated components is an advantage.
