Senior Chemical Engineer – Limerick
My client, a leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to join their team in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a well-established business with strong career progression prospects.
As Senior Chemical Engineer, you will provide technical expertise across production and maintenance, with a focus on process performance, quality control, kiln operations, and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while also contributing to longer-term projects and efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across crushing, grinding, kiln operations, and heat transfer processes.
- Analyse process performance, including mass balances and process design.
- Lead and support process improvement and quality initiatives.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with overhauls, commissioning, and project start-ups.
- Direct contractors on specific projects, ensuring health and safety compliance.
About You
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–4 years’ relevant industrial experience.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in project management and continuous improvement.
