on behalf of our Client who are a long established Agri merchant in the South East. Manufacturing a premium line of animal nutrition products, our Client is known for high-quality formulation, designed to meet the specific dietary and nutritional needs of various types of livestock, while supporting optimal health, productivity, and overall well-being. This range has earned a strong reputation among farmers throughout the South East region.
The successful candidate will experience a variety of areas across the business through purchasing, agronomy and technical sales while driving business forward with a high standard of customer engagement.
Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will manager and develop their agricultural division through the following:
• Provide expert advice to cereal growers and tillage farmers
• Assist in technical sales support to both customers and internal sales reps
• Oversee the purchasing and management of stock
• Develop sales of feed, fertilizer & chemicals through a strong understanding of livestock systems
• Management of customer accounts - both new and existing
• Ability to drive and expand the business
Candidate Profile:
• Degree/Strong experience in agriculture
• Background in arable farming and livestock
• Relevant experience in Agronomy & technical sales
• Registered pesticide advisor – advantageous
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
