Business Development Executive
(60% Limerick/40% West of Ireland)
Our client specialist Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and MRO provider
serving the industrial sector.
Working in close partnership with our customers, we help make inventory control more efficient by optimising supply chain relationships. Our bespoke VMI services, delivered on a ship-to-line basis, provide measurable added value and cost-saving opportunities. Our focus is on delivering cost savings, operational efficiencies, and consistent supply, without compromising on quality or compliance.
Responsibilities

Implement the business plan for your territory in line with corporate sales strategy

Translate strategic and tactical plans into practical, profitable actions for key accounts

Use CRM and customer data to effectively sell the company’s value proposition

Manage nominated accounts, including delivery of account development plans

Identify non-segment accounts with growth potential and support their progression

Work closely with branch colleagues to support account development

Review and ensure customer and stakeholder requirements are consistently met

Liaise with customers and suppliers to support service delivery

Maintain a clear understanding of company policies, vision, and the Integrated Management System

Handle customer and stakeholder communications via email and telephone

Encourage teamwork and collaboration to achieve or exceed productivity targets
Qualifications & Experience

Degree in a relevant discipline (minimum requirement) preferably

At least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced sales/ manufacturing or service environment

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Experience with ERP systems is desirable
