We are seeking a Business Development Executive for our client - a medical device organisation.
You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and expanding the market presence in Ireland for medical device testing, consultancy, and packaging services.
Your new role:
- Working in the Irish market, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, building strong, long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored testing and consultancy solutions.
- Support strategic business planning through market insights and client feedback.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and commercial agreements
A large part of the work of the role involves interaction with all functions across the organisation as well as with clients. This will include planned regular team meetings, client meetings as well as ad hoc discussions across the business. Therefore, you will need to be available to travel domestically as required (50% of your week)
What you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry or related field).
- 3+ years' experience in sales or business development in the medical device, biotech, or pharma sector.
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations (ISO, GLP).
- Experience in managing client relationships and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Salary will be determined based on experience and satisfying the above requirements. An example package includes:
- Full time and Permanent position
- €75K Basic Salary
- Target Bonus of €10K
- Car Allowance of €7,500
