My client, a leading provider of software solutions is seeking an experience Business Development executive to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position based in Duleek, Meath.
As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for initiating and nurturing relationships with prospective customers, offering them a tailored accounting solution that supports and simplifies the management of their business across Ireland & the UK.
Tasks & Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for all new prospects, engaging leads and working closely with the Accountancy Sales team to support the conversion of new business opportunities.
- Proactively liaise with prospects to gather key information, qualify leads, and assess business needs.
- Conduct live product demonstrations via phone and online webinars to showcase solutions effectively.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities, contributing directly to revenue growth.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to onboarding.
- Maintain up-to-date and detailed records in the CRM system to support pipeline visibility and reporting.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships by providing a high level of service and addressing queries with a solid understanding of the product.
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets, contributing to overall team success.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar sales role is required, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- A third-level qualification—ideally in sales, business, or a related field's is highly advantageous.
- The candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent phone manner and presentation abilities.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a target-driven mindset are essential for success in this role.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and continuously improve within a fast-paced sales environment.
