The Role

My client, a well-established, leading Irish insurer is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join their team based in Navan, Meath. This is a full-time, permanent, office based position.

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading branch operations, driving business growth, managing staff performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service in line with company standards.

Tasks & Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales Office, ensuring both team and individual sales targets are achieved.
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Sales Executives, Sales Advisors, and a Sales Development Coordinator through effective coaching and performance management.
  • Set clear sales targets and fairly allocate customer segments to maximise team success and motivation.
  • Oversee the full sales process including prospecting, lead generation, follow-ups, renewals, and referrals to drive business growth.
  • Promote a strong customer-first culture by ensuring all interactions are handled professionally, fairly, and in line with complaints procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customer groups across relevant business sectors to support growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with other branches and support regional objectives by sharing resources and best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, services, and compliance requirements, and ensure team adherence to all procedures and standards.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • A CIP qualification is essential for this role.
  • Strong track record in sales, building client relationships, and helping grow business.
  • Experienced in leading teams, coaching, mentoring, and managing performance.
  • Good understanding of how to find leads, manage time and territory, and turn opportunities into results.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, policy systems, e-learning tools, and reporting on sales activity.
  • Great at communicating and networking.
  • A full clean driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
