New Job Opportunity for an enthusiastic chemist or biochemist keen to join a rapidly growing biologics company in the Northwest.
You will be working as part of a highly regarded and successful team providing an extensive range of bioassay product testing . Your role will encompass a vast array of projects ranging in scale, scope and timelines.
What you will be doing:
- Qualification of new laboratory equipment
- Perform GMP compliant and timely transfer of analytical methods.
- Generation of necessary documentation to support ongoing operation of the QC laboratory, i.e. procedures, work instructions and protocols.
- Completion of training of other analysts on test methods to be transferred.
- Perform sample analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs
- Conducting laboratory investigations and generating reports in response to invalid assays, deviations, OOS/OOT results.
- Initiating and completing CAPAs and Change Controls
- Presenting analytical data/trend reports
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Degree in chemistry , biochemistry or biotechnology with knowledge of analytical science
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience/competency in bioassays including (qPCR and RT-PCR) and (ELISA) is essential.
- Experience in immunological assays i.e. viral titrations and cell-based bioassays is beneficial.
- Experience of analytical transfer , method development/validation.
- Knowledge and experience in authoring, review and execution of analytical and process validation studies and reports
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and IT skills.
