A leading player in the pharmaceutical industry with a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to pioneering breakthroughs in biologics now have a new job opportunity for a Batch Release Coordinator for their biologics department.

You'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of scientific innovation. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, contribute to groundbreaking research, and make a meaningful impact on global healthcare.

Reporting directly to the Analytical Functional Manager, the Batch Release Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient release of biologic’s products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Overseeing routine batch release testing, managing client correspondence, scheduling tests, and ensuring timely sample release.
  • Documentation: Generating GMP compliant SOPs, Protocols, and reports to uphold regulatory standards.
  • Procurement: Sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory of consumables, standards, and reagents necessary for testing.
  • Data Management: Processing test samples in LIMS, conducting data calculations, basic statistics, and trending analysis.
  • Compliance: Assisting in internal, regulatory, and client audits, ensuring adherence to findings.
  • Laboratory Procedures: Performing test method procedures such as ELISA, MAT assay, and microplate assays.
  • Waste Management: Safely and compliantly disposing of all laboratory-generated waste.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Scientific Research, preferably within a GMP regulated environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A BSc/M.Sc. in a relevant science discipline, such as Analytical Chemistry.
  • Experience in analytical techniques and immunoassays is desirable but not essential.
