We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead and enhance audit quality across a growing financial services portfolio, with a specific focus on insurance audits. This role centres on improving audit methodology, supporting risk management, and delivering real-time assurance reviews to ensure excellence across all engagements.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance on complex insurance audit matters and keep teams updated on industry and regulatory changes.

Perform real time assurance reviews on in-progress insurance audits and identify remediation plans where needed.

Work closely with the audit quality, risk and methodology teams to strengthen quality frameworks.

Collaborate with internal specialists and audit teams to drive consistent, high-quality delivery.

Support root cause analysis, follow-up actions, and report findings to senior leadership.

Contribute to enhancements in insurance audit methodology and best practices.

Lead and deliver audit technical training and quality briefings for staff and management.

Assist in implementing wider audit quality initiatives across the insurance audit portfolio.
Ideal Candidate:

ACA or equivalent qualification with 5+ years’ PQE.

Strong technical expertise in insurance audit and interpreting complex standards.

Recent senior management experience within financial services audit.

Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
