Area Sales Representative – Industrial Oils and Fluids
Our Galway based client is expanding their footprint across the Connacht region and currently seeking a driven and results-focused Area Sales Representative
to join their Industrial Oils and Fluids division and service this region.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage strong relationships with new and existing customers across the territory.

Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term accounts to achieve sales and credit targets.

Apply a consultative sales approach to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform commercial strategy.

Recommend new or modified products to meet client needs and support product development.

Manage pricing strategies in collaboration with regional commercial teams to maintain competitiveness and profitability.

Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions to promote products and services.

Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience: 2–3 years in a field-based sales role. Experience in oil distribution, industrial products, or B2B technical sales is advantageous.

Sales Ability: Strong track record in lead generation, sales planning, and closing deals.

Motivation: Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a strong focus on achieving targets.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Organisation: Able to manage a wide customer base and prioritise tasks effectively.

Team Player: Collaborative with internal stakeholders to support business goals.

Tech Proficiency: Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

Market Awareness: Commercially savvy with an understanding of industry trends and customer needs.
