We are currently recruiting an Area Sales Manager to drive sales of Building Materials across the West of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with construction industry experience to join a growing and ambitious business.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business while managing and growing existing accounts within your territory.
Key responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with:

Builders’ Merchants
-
House Builders
-
Contractors & Brickwork Contractors
-
Specifiers
-
-
Delivering and contributing to Business Development Plans for key accounts

Managing a project pipeline, ensuring:

Accurate schedules and quotations
-
Opportunities are tracked, progressed, and closed

Protecting and growing market share through sales of Building Materials
-
Acting as a product and company ambassador, delivering expert advice and support

Updating the company CRM system daily
About You
We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused sales professional who thrives in a field-based, target-driven role.
You will ideally have:

Experience within the construction or building products industry

Strong commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Confidence working to sales targets and KPIs

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

A self-motivated, results-driven attitude

A full, clean driving licence
