Area Manager required for Cleaning & Facilities company. Head Office is based in UK, so full autonomy will be given for the Irish market. The Irish market has been growing over the last number of years and we are seeking an experienced manager who can continue this growth.
Main duties:
- Provide visible leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
- Undertake cost analysis for facilities management and project works
- Assist in meeting client requirements
- Perform risk assessment, value management and cost control exercises
- Visit sites as necessary to compile accurate quoted works
- Can challenge the business and develop new delivery models
- Maintain awareness of the Cleaning industry in general and the various contracts in use
- Contribute business improvement/efficiency ideas and initiatives
- Manages the delivery of a team and escalates individual performance issues.
Requirements
- Strong multi-site management experience
- Experience managing P&L
- Ability to proactively partner with the leadership team members to understand their business requirements and to support business through proactive goal setting.
- Excellent customer services and client awareness as well as the ability to work to deadlines and budgets across different industry sectors.
- Excellent administration and budget proficiencies with the ability to present key results to management.
- Participation in Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) across various industries as well as data protection and contract requirements throughout the process.
- The ability to goal set and work well on own initiative as well as in a team situation.
- Full clean Irish driving licence
- Full rights to work without restriction in Ireland
