Our client, a leading and well-established pharmaceutical company based in Cork, is expanding its Analytical operations and currently seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their Analytical Development team. About the Role:
As part of the Method Development & Validation team, you will be responsible for:

Developing, optimizing, validating, and transferring analytical methods according to regulatory (ICH/USP/EP) standards.

Troubleshooting analytical issues during method development and providing technical solutions.

Performing analytical testing of APIs, raw materials, excipients, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, IC, IR, LC-MS, ICP-OES, and Atomic Absorption.

Managing technical/analytical projects, ensuring all data is accurately processed and findings clearly reported.

Collaborating cross-functionally with other R&D and Quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Requirements:

BSc (or higher) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.

Minimum of 5 years' industry experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Proven hands-on experience in method validation and analytical testing of pharmaceutical materials.

Strong knowledge of chromatographic (HPLC, GC, IC) and spectroscopic (IR, LC-MS, ICP-OES, AA) techniques.

Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills.
