FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for Agricultural Sales Rep on behalf of a leading Solar contracting business. This is a full-time permanent role.

Our client is a leading Solar PV contracting company dedicated to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions to homes, farms, and businesses. Their success to date can be attributed to their exceptional customer service, technical expertise, and sustainable innovation. As demand for clean energy continues to grow they are expanding their sales team to meet increasing interest from domestic and agricultural clients.

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Domestic & Agricultural Sales Representative to drive growth across residential and farming sectors. This role involves engaging with homeowners, agricultural businesses, and landowners, providing tailored solar PV solutions to meet their energy needs. You will be the face of our company in the field, supported by a strong technical and operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and actively pursue domestic and agricultural sales opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits, assess suitability for solar PV installations, and prepare accurate sales proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, installers, and industry partners.
  • Deliver professional sales presentations and explain technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain detailed records of leads, interactions, and sales activities using the company CRM.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with the operations and design teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in sales (experience in solar PV, renewable, electrical, agricultural, or construction sectors is an advantage).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline.
  • Comfortable meeting clients onsite, conducting surveys, and walking through technical discussions.
  • Full clean driving licence.
